"I Found U" is #6 in midweeks at the moment! Top 5 is possible as it's only 95 copies behind "Hey There Delilah" and almost 300 copies ahead of Fergie! And hey, David Guetta's massive "Love Is Gone" is only #9 in midweeks! Well done, Ax!!! P.S. I thought Positiva won't be able to propel a single into top 10 anymore...

i always have mixed feeling when songs i like do well in the "popular singles charts". I'm always glad that the artist gets the recognition they deserve and ax most definatly does.
However, i feel that the real vibe behind the song gets lost and that people start to jump on the bandwagon and say they like the track because people say its cool, not simply for the luv of the groove. Its a strange thing to explain, but when "djs" like edith bowman start overplaying the tune on the radio then its appeal always starts to fall for me. i know its a weird thing to explain, but i guess ax doesnt mind because the money will start rolling in ;D and he deserves it.

I feel absolute the same way - but still - as a DJ - we should be glad that the track gets popular because this makes him playable. And we have so many bad music out there (also House) that the world need Ax's music urgently!

Gym Class Heroes & Hard-Fi can push him to #8 though

I do not agree. a track like this doesn't need to be popular to be playable. when a track has the things it need to be a bomb on the dance floor, it will if you put it on at the right time. I guess I'm proven right as most top dj's mostly play new upcomming stuff which isn't know by a wide public yet, and the crowd does get wild :-)

@ odyssey Well if you are one of these top DJs... ok The problem is that too many small, unimportant DJs think they can behave like a big one and many tracks they play do not work in a local club. That's why I love Ax´'s work - he produce tracks which are House at its best and still catchy... Also it depends on the region where you play... there are many reasons why you can play something and why not - everyone should decide for himself... I'm happy for Ax - he def deserves the success, and I do not worry that he might become too commerical one day (Submariner). Follow the musical journey
